I want to eat at Skippers Canteen when I'm in MK, as i really want to try the Deserts I don't want a big main, could I make a reservation and just have an Appetizer & Dessert or do I need to order an Entree?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Nikki ~

I like the way you think! There are so many yummy appetizers and desserts at a lot of the dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort and I want to try them all. You are welcome to make a reservation at the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen in the Magic Kingdom and order appetizers and a dessert without ordering a main entrée. I did that just last weekend at California Grill. There were so many amazing appetizers that I couldn't decide on one so I ordered three of them and then skipped to dessert. That way I got a taste of several different things. I fell in love with their BLT Flatbread and still crave it every single day.

Disney does a fabulous job of posting the menus for most dining locations online. You can go ahead and check out the menu for the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen so that you can pick out some delicious options before you arrive. Being adventurous and trying new things is a great way to find your new favorites.

Advanced dining reservations can be made up to 180-days prior to your trip online, on the My Disney Experience mobile app, or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
