Hi Bonnie!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question - I'm happy to help!
While I've never personally dined at the
Shades of Green resort, I've read wonderful reviews about their featured restaurant, Mangino's Bistro. I've heard the food is delicious, and diners have raved about great service, large portions, and very reasonable prices. After reading the reviews, I might just have to check it out for myself on our next Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Unfortunately, there's not a direct
WDW Transportation option to use to get from
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort to the Shades of Green resort. If you have your own vehicle, that would of course be the easiest way to travel between the two resorts. If not, your best bet would be to take a taxi or Uber from your resort to Shades of Green. If cost is a factor, you could always take a bus to
Magic Kingdom Park, then hop on the
Resort Monorail to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and catch a cab from there for a smaller fare. Shades of Green is actually right across the street from the Polynesian and is about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the Great Ceremonial House.
I hope this helps with your planning. Please come back and let us know if you have any further questions before your trip! Have a magical day - Diane W.
