hi we would like to eat at Ohana for dinner but one person in our party has a slight allergy to peanuts and I noticed it says Peanut and Sweet-n-Sour Sauces - Are they on the side or on the meat? Thanks

Aloha and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Heather, we thank you kindly for your loyalty and this most excellent question!

‘Ohana means family and no one ever gets left behind or forgotten, including Guests with special dietary needs! This restaurant, Heather is our favorite and we visit multiple times on each vacation- my waistline is proof!

My experience with dining here is that the skewered meats and shrimp do not have any type of sauces on them as they are grilled to perfection. The Peanut and Sweet-n-Sour Sauces are brought to your table in little bowls, rest assured. Please feel free to ask your server to refrain from bringing them to your table, Heather.

I recommend stating the allergy to your server upon being seated at your table, who can even arrange for the chef to come and discuss concerns and accommodations. As well, for added peace of mind, please contact Special Dietary Requests to inform them of the allergy.

    Mom’s Tips:
-Time your dinner just right for spectacular views of Happily Ever After fireworks display soaring over Cinderella Castle
-Walk over to the sandy area near the main pool to watch the spectacular Electrical Water Pageant in Seven Seas Lagoon.

We sincerely hope you enjoy your Hawaiian-flavored specialties, games and storytelling at 'Ohana, Heather, we wish you many magical moments and we would be honored to be of any further assistance again soon!
