Be Our Guest Restaurant is a great choice whether it’s for lunch or dinner. I had the pleasure of dining there for lunch a couple months ago and loved the
Beauty and the Beast-inspired ambiance and delicious food.
As you mentioned, lunchtime Guests order their meals using a touch-screen terminal. Yes, it is possible to customize many dishes to accommodate your daughter’s specific dietary needs. When choosing her meal, simply indicate her allergies on the appropriate screen. The meals that are safe for her to eat will remain on the screen, and all menu items that include the ingredients she’s allergic to will be eliminated. A chef is available if you prefer to speak with one personally, particularly if your daughter has multiple allergies. The touch-screen terminals are meant to streamline the ordering process for Guests with allergies and special dietary needs, but you certainly aren't limited to using it instead of speaking to a Cast Member.
Once you've placed your order, you’ll take a “Magic Rose” to the table of your choice in one of three themed dining areas—the West Wing, the Rose Gallery, or the Ballroom—that make you feel as if you've stepped right into the Beast’s Castle. Even though the restaurant only offers quick service dining at lunch, meals are delivered to your table on real china. I recommend the braised pork dish, and the strawberry cream cheese cupcake is a must-have for any sweet tooth!
