We would like to eat at Be Our Guest, but my adult son only eats chicken nuggets. Would he be allow to order of the kids menu?

Bonjour Jessica and welcome to planDisney!

If there's something that I'm always keen to discuss and try out in the name of research, it's anything that involves the multitude of Disney dining locations anywhere in the world! When it comes to Be Our Guest Restaurant, it is highly valued among Walt Disney World Resort guests for its gastronomic offerings that may be a bit more exotic to younger palates used to the food normally found on the children's menu, or just anyone less adventurous with what they eat. (For example, while I enjoy duck or escargot on the menu, my husband is much less enthusiastic about those options.)

You'll be happy to hear that on my most recent visit to Be Our Guest Restaurant for a meal, the Cast Member serving us was very accommodating to special dietary preferences and allowed one of the adult members of our party to order from the Kids' Create-Your-Own menu offerings. Though they were still charged the full adult pricing of the meal, they were able to receive what appeared to be a larger portion of their selection. I highly recommend stopping by ahead of your reservation time to confirm whether this is still possible with the Cast Members checking guests in, as leadership and policies are always subject to change without prior notice.

In my opinion, the chicken tenders served across Walt Disney World Resort are second to none either way and as Lumiere says - the dinner here is never second-best! If you get a chance, take a peek at the other rooms to see the special details found within the Beast's castle and you might even be able to overhear the suits of armor whispering to each other! Don't hesitate to come back to planDisney again for any other dining tips or advice, and be sure to check out the Disney Eats Foodie Guides on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and Disney deliciousness.

    Bon Appétit!
