We would like to eat at Garden Grill during our upcoming trip but don't plan to spend any days at epcot. We will not have a park reservation. Is that allowed?

    Hi ya Tammy!

Welcome to planDisney, we’re so happy to hEAR from you today. Dining at Walt Disney World Resort is my husband’s absolute favorite thing to do! He gets so excited once we start making our dining reservations. The days before our trip, I find him glancing over menus and making restaurant suggestions. The funniest part is, he tells everyone else that I’m the planner, but he’s totally joined in on helping plan!

You are now able to make your dining reservations up to 60 days in advance. There are a couple of things to keep in mind when making those dining reservations. The first is, if you are dining in the park, you will need a valid park admission and a reservation for the park you wish to dine at. Since you are looking to dine at The Garden Grill, I recommend adding or switching one of your other days, for a park reservation at EPCOT.

If you are looking to enjoy a Character Dining experience outside of the parks (so that you don’t need a park reservation), I recommend Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends at Topolino’s Terrace-Flavors of the Riviera. There, you will be able to enjoy a delicious meal and still see some of your favorite Pals while practicing physical distancing!

If you need any other restaurant suggestions, please visit us again. I know a lot of my fellow panelist, including myself, are total “Disney foodies”. We can recommend some of our personal favorite Mickey shaped treats and meals like, the must-try Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich at Sleepy Hollow!

    Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Texas

Hi! I'm Shantel from Arizona. I am a mom of two and a military wife. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey-shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for and I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical! Learn More About Shantel
