We want to eat as a family at Ohana but one member of my travel group is a 6 year old with special needs who will only eat chicken fingers/nuggets. Is there any way to order something like that for him off menu?

Aloha, Sandra, and welcome to planDisney!

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a must-do for my family on every visit. Even when we aren't staying there, we are drawn to the delicious food, tropical ambiance and favorites such as 'Ohana and Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. My favorite thing is to sit by the windows in Tambu Lounge with an order of pot stickers and a Lapu Lapu to talk about all the fun we've had at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

While the 'Ohana noodles are amazing, there are plenty of younger Guests who prefer to stick with the classic favorites. You will be pleased to know that although they are not on the menu, you are able to request chicken nuggets and fries or even mac and cheese for the little Prince of your party. If he also isn't keen on the dessert offerings, usually you can request a Mickey Crisped Rice Treat or a plain scoop of vanilla ice cream.

After we've filled our bellies at 'Ohana, we like to stroll outside and watch the Electrical Water Pageant sail across Seven Seas Lagoon. It's a great way to end the evening and say goodbye to another magical day.

Have a wonderful vacation, Sandra! Please come visit us again soon if there is anything else we can help you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
