Hi William! Welcome back to planDisney!
I'll admit that one of my favorite things about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is the food! After picking the dates of our visit and where we will stay, my next thoughts dwell on where we will eat. Even if it's just a snack like the Macaron Lime Raspberry from
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, I
count down the days until I get to eat all the delicious things!
Dining reservations at Table-Service locations open 60 days in advance, so it can be a challenge to find availability at the last minute. Since Guests have to cancel at least one day before their reservation to avoid a cancellation fee, I recommend that you keep checking for any dining availability to open up over the next couple of days. You just might find that a few options show up!
Some locations offer
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability through the
My Disney Experience mobile app. With the app on your phone, you can join the dining location's waitlist the day you are in the theme park. These spots fill up quickly, so you will want to join the waitlist early. In my experience, my party was able to join a waitlist at noon with a return time of 2:00 PM. It helps to have some flexibility in your plans and grab a snack to hold you over.
There are LOTS of Quick-Service dining options in the theme parks that don't require a reservation at all! No worries if you don't get any reservations because these spots are delicious, offer something different at every location, and don't have to be booked in advance.
Happy eating, William! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
