Hi Christy and welcome back to planDisney!
I just love being a
Walt Disney World Passholder! It gives us the flexibility to visit the theme parks as often as possible and we sure do take advantage of that. I'm currently resting from a magical 4-day trip from earlier this week!
Theme park reservations are still required to visit any park before 2:00 PM, so if you are interested in dining inside of a theme park, like at
Garden Grill Restaurant in
EPCOT, you will need to make a theme park reservation to do so. Currently,
park hopping is only allowed after 2:00 PM, so you wouldn't be able to hop over to
Disney's Hollywood Studios right after you have breakfast. If you have your heart set on dining at Garden Grill Restaurant (shout out to the cinnamon loaf and the cheesy breakfast potatoes!), I suggest doing it on a day you plan to stick around EPCOT for a while. You will be visiting when
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is in full swing, so there will be plenty of fun things to see, do and eat when you're there, aside from the attractions.
There has been a recent change to theme park reservation rules and Passholders being that you don't need a park reservation to visit a park after 2:00 PM, except for
Magic Kingdom Park on Saturdays and Sundays. If you are starting your day out late and won't be heading into a park until after 2:00 PM, no need to make your reservations and you can head right to the park to start having fun.
Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
