Can you eat at a Disney resort if not staying at that resort?

Hey there, Jennifer, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question. You’ve come to the perfect place! As a self-proclaimed Disney foodie, I love chatting about all things dining at Walt Disney World. I’m also a firm believer that Disney dining is an attraction all on its own! I spend weeks - and maybe months - before my Disney Vacations planning my Disney Vacation food crawl. It hasn’t led me wrong yet!

Jennifer, Walt Disney World Resort Guests are free to dine at other Disney Resorts Collection Hotels during their vacations! In fact, I would even encourage it! Disney’s Resort Hotels are immersive experiences that extend to the food offerings available to Guests! For example, you can grab some bayou classics like Po’Boy sandwiches from Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory in Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter or African specialties from Boma - Flavors of Africa in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. If you are unable to land dining reservations at Resort Hotel restaurants, many offer quick-service dining options. These quick-service options still allow you to experience the resort and grab a bite to eat in a more laid-back setting. On our Magic Kingdom days, my family enjoys grabbing lunch from Contempo Cafe in Disney’s Contemporary Resort

I hope this helps, Jennifer! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know

You’ve got a friend in me,
