Where can you eat at the Disney parks if you to be low sodium?

Hello, Cindy and welcome to planDisney!

We’re so glad you brought this excellent question to planDisney because the topic of food is a popular one, and the topic of special diets is a very important one – thank you! In fact, "Walt Disney Parks and Resorts is the recipient of a FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education) Award for dedication to providing a safe and enjoyable dining experience for vacationing families and our chefs have been recognized for their commitment to food allergy awareness, education and management."

Cindy, you will be happy to hear that for Guests with special dietary needs, including low-sodium diets, every effort will be made to provide an array of choices at select Disneyland Resort quick-service and many Disneyland Resort table-service restaurants, with most of the time not needing advance arrangements. When you arrive at a table-service restaurant it’s a good idea to speak with a Cast Member about your special diet and you will have the opportunity to speak with another Cast Member trained in special diets, or you may even speak to the Chef who will then direct you to select from meal options that suit your needs.

The following Disneyland Resort - Special Dietary requests accommodated that do not need advance arrangements are plant-based options, low sodium, low carbohydrate, low fat, smaller portions, and no-sugar-added options.

Please note that if you or anyone in your travel party has four (4) or more allergy-friendly requests, if they require medically-restrictive diets such as a low protein diet, or if they require meals to be pureed, then you will need to contact the Special Diets Team via email at Special.Diets@Disneyland.com to complete a Special Dietary Request Form. Please contact the Special Diets Team no sooner than 14 days before your arrival.

To prepare for your visit, when considering your special diet for quick-service venues please refer to the Disneyland Resort - Quick-Service Dining, select which venue you may be interested in, and peruse the online menu to look for suitable allergy-friendly options. If using Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering via the Disneyland App you will be presented with allergy-friendly menus. At any smaller quick-service venue, festival kiosk, food cart, or pool bar please consult with the Cast Member for assistance. The comprehensive Disneyland Resort – Special Diets resource will also present you with information regarding Halal and Kosher Meals.

Cindy, it was my pleasure offering a little help today, please stop by planDisney for more first-and tips and advice, thank you!

    Best Disney Dishes!
