If we want to eat at certain restuarants, specifically some of the character meals, do we have to have a pass to enter those parks or can we just enter to eat?

Hi Mecall!  There are many great character dining experiences within the parks but also just as many in the great Disney resorts. If you choose a dining reservation that is within a park you will also have to have a park ticket to enter.  If you don't have a Park Hopper ticket then I always encourage guests to plan their day in the park where they have their reservation.

If heading to a park is not possible then please don't forget the great opportunities in the resorts such as Chef Mickey, Ohana's, Cape May, and those at the Grand Floridian.
