Hey there Katy and welcome to planDisney!
You're exactly 1 month away from your visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth! And of course, you'll want to know the ins and outs of how to fuel up for a day in the Disney Parks. So I did a bit of research and found that
Riverside Mill Food Court at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is currently listing its opening time for your arrival date as 7 a.m.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is currently listing its June Early Theme Park Entry time as 7:30 am. Considering you'll still have to factor in travel time from the resort to the theme park, I don't think you'll be able to get the full benefit of that extra 30 minutes of park time if you stop in to dine first. Let me share with you what I usually do instead to maximize my time!
Think about doing an online grocery delivery order to your hotel that includes some no-fuss breakfast items. I usually go for fruit, muffins, cereal, etc. You know, the kinds of things you can eat quickly or walk to the bus with and that will keep that hangry feeling at bay. Once you've arrived at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park take advantage of at least 1 or 2 attractions that would typically have a high wait time ( I'm looking at you
Avatar Flight of Passage). With that all done, it's time to eat something a bit heartier.
Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe for a delightful breakfast in Asia! A breakfast bowl with bacon from this Quick Service location sounds like just the thing to keep me going.
Katy, while dining at your resort pre-
Early Theme Park Entry is a bit tight to manage, you'll still be able to get your grub on at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. If you have any other questions, feel free to
stop by for another chat! Hakuna Matata,
Taylor
