My DH, 2DS (5&2) are going to eat @ Biergarten. How long is the boat trip across the lagoon? Is there a boat dock near Germany? Do you need to fold up your strollers or can you push them onto the boat?

Hi, Tara! The boat trip across the lagoon takes about 15 minutes per leg of the trip. However, the boat which travels back and forth across World Showcase Lagoon should be considered more as an attraction instead of a method of transportation. I have found that one definitely waits longer to ride and board the boat than it would take an able-bodied person to walk around to a World Showcase destination. There is a boat dock near Germany. Yet, the World Showcase boat schedule and stops are not consistent.  So, just make sure you know where they're going before boarding the boat. On most boats I've traveled in WDW, I have been able to push my stroller right onto the boat. However, I also have been asked on occasion to take the child out and fold the stroller because of the number of people riding the boat. I hope this helps with your planning, and I know your boys are going to enjoy the Biergarten.  Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
