Hi, Amanda! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am counting down the days until my visit to the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival this fall. It is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort events! In addition to all of the tasty foods and beverages I plan to try when I visit, I am also looking forward to the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series. What could be better than live music from top-name acts included in the price of your admission to
Epcot?
When you purchase an
Eat to the Beat Dining Package, you may choose to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at one of 14 unique Epcot restaurants. Along with your meal, your dining package purchase also ensures that you will have a seat at one of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series performances. The reserved seating section for the Eat to the Beat Dining Package is in the second section in the middle of the America Gardens Theatre. This seating section is uncovered. If anyone in your party requires accessible seating, you should note this when you reserve your dining package.
A Cast Member at your chosen Eat to the Beat Dining Package restaurant will provide you with the details regarding where to go to access the reserved seating section at the concert. They will also let you know what time you can enter the seating section. The Eat to the Beat Concert performances are fairly close together in timing. From what I remember at past festivals, guests could begin entering the reserved seating section no more than 30 minutes prior to showtime. Please keep in mind that all guests purchasing an Eat to the Beat Dining Package are guaranteed a seat inside the reserved section. However, within that section, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so you may want to line up on the earlier side if you want to have the best possible view.
If you are staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you may want to consider purchasing a
Disney Dining Plan. You may use two table-service entitlements from your Disney Dining Plan to purchase your Eat to the Beat Dining Package. Also, many of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival booths offer items that may be purchased using your Disney Dining Plan snack credits. Be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog to see when this year's festival menus are announced. I always check out the menus prior to my visit to decide what I simply must try.
Bon appetit!
Samantha
