Can you eat at the Bar at Narcoossee if you cannot get a dinning resveration?

    Hi Richard,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

Narcoosee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will always hold a special place in my heart because that was where my husband and I had our wedding reception when we got married at Walt Disney World Resort almost 10 years ago!

There is a very small bar area that seats about a dozen or so people, side-by-side at Narcoosee’s. I wouldn’t recommend dining there if you’re more than two people, as conversation may get difficult. Plus, seating is allocated on a “first come, first served” basis, so I’d recommend arriving at least an hour before Magic Kingdom Park’s nightly fireworks spectacular begins, as people often tend to wait there and have a drink while waiting for the show.

From what I remember, however, you could absolutely order off the restaurant’s regular menu if you choose to sit there during dinner hours, so you should absolutely be good to go if you with to dine at the bar. Based on my experience, however, Narcoossee’s doesn’t tend to be one of the most popular Disney dining locations (which is a crying shame), so you should be able to grab a Disney dining reservation to eat there. Just keep trying and one should pop up, especially 24 hours before the day you'd like to dine there (due to the restaurant’s cancellation policy).

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
