Can I get a very easy to understand list of transportation between Disney world parks when park hopping? Also if we park at MK on a party day and park hop to another park are we then able to hop back to MK to get to our car at the end of the night?

Hi there Kodi, welcome to planDisney!

As someone who frequently hops between the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks frequently in the name of conducting planDisney research, I'm happy to help you plan your journeys! You'll be happy to hear that on our most recent visit this week, we were able to hop to another theme park on the day of a party from Magic Kingdom Park and use complimentary transportation to take us back again later in the evening. (As offerings and operations may be subject to change without prior notice, if you do ever find yourself stuck it's always a good idea to find a Resort Transportation Cast Member to let them know your car is parked at the TTC or Transportation and Ticket Center so they can help you get back at the end of the night.)

I also definitely agree that there should be a straightforward guide out there to Park Hopping and the ways that one can get around using complimentary Resort Transportation. Thankfully, I've compiled this for you in a way that will hopefully be handy:

Park Hopping from Magic Kingdom Park:
    • Take a Ferryboat, Express Monorail or Resort Monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), where you can then take the EPCOT Monorail to EPCOT.
    • Take advantage of the Bus Service heading directly to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park.
    Park Hopping from EPCOT
    • Take the EPCOT Monorail from the main park entrance to the Transportation and Ticket Center before transferring to the Express Monorail (faster) or Resort Monorail (slower with several stops) to Magic Kingdom Park.
    • Take the Disney Skyliner from the International Gateway entrance to Disney's Hollywood Studios, with a transfer required at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Alternatively, you can take a FriendShip Boat that makes several stops at Disney Resort Hotels along the way.
    • Take advantage of the Bus Service heading directly to Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park.
Park Hopping from Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Take the Disney Skyliner to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, making a transfer to another line heading to the International Gateway station at EPCOT. A pathway from the park entrance also leads to the FriendShip boat dock that can also take you on a slow ride over to EPCOT.
    • Take advantage of the Bus Service heading directly to Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park.
Park Hopping from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park:
    • Take advantage of the Bus Service heading directly to Disney's Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT; there are currently no other complimentary forms of transportation available to hop from here.
