I easy told by a TA that I could make a hotel only reservation for Feb 2025 and then add passes later to change to a package. But currently, I don't see that it is possible. Am I missing something? Could you please give me info on reserving for 2025?

    Hi Laura!

Thank you for visiting planDisney! It is always good to hear from another Disney planning enthusiast. I can tell that you are excited to get that 2025 vacation booked and on the calendar and I don't blame you! Magical countdowns are the best kind.

Your travel agent is correct. Disney Resort Hotel room-only reservations are able to be made 499 days in advance of your arrival. The only way to book your room reservation this early is to call the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Reservations Line. A friendly Cast Member will be able to help you. Then, once the 2025 Walt Disney World Resort vacation packages are available, you will be able to convert the room-only reservation to a package with tickets and if you'd like, one of the dining plan options. I like to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as they are my go-to source for Disney news and announcements.

In the meantime, I suggest looking through your dining options to start planning your must-dos. My family loves Character Dining. It's a great way to visit with our favorite Disney pals and enjoy a delicious meal. We also try to plan at least one experience from the Enchanting Extras Collection. They all add just a little extra pixie dust to an already magical vacation.

Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, Laura, and please let us know if we can help with anything else.

    Magical Wishes,
