Hiya David!
Welcome to planDisney!
David, most table-service restaurants will use one Table-Service meal from your dining plan unless they are a
Fine/Signature Dining experience which will require two Table-Service meals. Other dining reservations that will require two Table-Service meals will be dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant and dinner shows such as
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. To easily search if one of your reservations will use two Table-Service meals just search for the restaurant by name in your
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Open up the restaurant's page and scroll to the bottom. You will see in bold the title "Dining Plan" and a statement about this being a location that will use two Table-Service meals. In some locations like
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, only two Table-Service meals are used for lunch and dinner. That means their breakfast service will only be one Table-Service meal! That's a great deal if you love breakfast, princesses, and using one Table-Service meal! If you don't see a message noting that this location will use two Table-Service meals then you can safely assume it will only use one.
Since dining plans have returned I have been impressed by how well the My Disney Experience Mobile App has worked along with it. Keep track of how many meals and snacks are available for your trip by clicking "≡" on the bottom right and then "Resort Hotel." You will see your resort stay, room information, and then an icon for "check dining plans." All your dining plan details will be neatly laid out for you to review.
I hope this helps and if you have any questions please feel free to
let me know!
Happy Planning!
