Hi Kelly,
Welcome to planDisney. Navigating the magnitude that is the Walt Disney World Resort is no easy feat! Did you know it’s basically the size of San Francisco? I know! So getting around can feel a little confusing at times. But you’ve come to the right place, and with a little pixie dust and help, you’ll be getting around smoother than Aladdin on his magic carpet! So, like Genie would say: keep your hands and arms inside the carpet. Weeeee'rrrrrreee... outta here!
Good news first: getting from Disney’s Pop Century Resort to Disney Springs is easy. There is direct
bus transportation from Pop Century to
Disney Springs, so you can head to the resort bus stop, hop on, and go. Bonus: It’s a straight shot! No transfers, no park detours, just nice and simple.
Kelly, you’re totally right about EPCOT. There isn’t bus transportation directly from EPCOT to Disney Springs. But there is a way around this! If you’re at EPCOT and want to head to Disney Springs, the
Disney transportation way to do it is to take a bus from EPCOT back to a Disney Resort hotel, and then catch the bus from the resort to Disney Springs. It sounds more complicated than it feels in practice. My recommendation is to pick one that is closest to Disney Springs, like Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort.
If you want easy, fast, and a little extra pixie dust,
Minnie Van service is such a great splurge. They’re driven by Cast Members, pick you up right where you are, and drop you off exactly where you need to be. It’s especially nice for dinner reservations or late nights when you’re tired and just want to be transported like Disney royalty.
You can also use a rideshare service if you want a direct ride on your own schedule. It’s another solid option when timing matters, or you’re just not in the mood to wait for a bus. Just be mindful of the drop-off and pickup locations. Those might add some walking distance.
One more pro tip I swear by: the directions feature in the
My Disney Experience app. Plug in where you are and where you’re going, and it will walk you through your transportation options step by step. It’s honestly so helpful and takes all the guesswork out of getting around. This is how I figured out that Saratoga was the closest resort to Disney Springs!
I hope this info helps you glide around the resort during your stay! And for any additional planning tips or advice, don’t hesitate to come see us! We might not be able to grant you wishes like Genie, but we can definitely help make the magic happen, magic lamp not required!
Consider this your official send-off to a whole new world of Disney magic! ~
