Hi there, Brenda, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you've found us here and have stopped by with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You'll be arriving so soon, and you must be so excited!
Brenda, you'll be happy to know that the Most Magical Place on Earth is a great place to visit when you have a dietary restriction. At quick-service restaurants and snack carts, you should be able to ask for a current list of ingredients for items offered there. You can even do research ahead of time by clicking on the menu for a specific dining location and scrolling down to the
allergy-friendly lists. When you visit a table service restaurant, your Server will be happy to help you navigate the menu and recommend items that are allergy-friendly. If you have
specific requests, please email Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com.
To find the allergy-friendly menus, visit the website for a dining location, like
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. Click
View Menu and scroll down. You can cross-reference the egg and milk allergy sections, and find items that are listed on both, like the Kids' Citrus-Chipotle Chicken Rice Bowl.
Did you know that you're welcome to bring food and drinks to the Disney Theme Parks? If it would give you peace of mind to pack a small cooler with some trusted snacks, I highly recommend doing so. We love to have our favorite snacks on hand for when we're standing in a queue or in between meals. Remember, loose ice is not permitted, so consider using ice packs to keep your items chilled.
Brenda, I hope this is helpful to you as you count down the hours to your arrival! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon!
Jennifer
