is it easy to use the dining plan?

    It truly is.

The servers in the restaurants are well-versed in the ins and outs of the dining plan.  From the moment you are seated at your table they will ask whether or not you are using the dining plan.  If you are, they explain the entitlements and limitations very clearly.  The most difficult thing you have to do is decide what to order!

At the close of your meal, you will be given a receipt.  At the bottom of the receipt the balance of your meal credits will be listed.  You should double check that balance at the end of each meal before you leave the restaurant just to make sure that the server charged against those available credits correctly.  My family has never had to correct a problem in that regard but I do know of others who have.  Should you notice a mistake, just call it to the server's attention and his or her manager should be able to remedy the issue for you without any trouble.  Again, I've never experienced any problems but they do occur from time to time.  Better safe than sorry right?

I think you'll find that the dining plan offers a very convenient way to enjoy Disney's fabulous restaurants.  Easy peasy!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
