How easy (or difficult!) is it to travel from the Grand Floridian to the Wilderness Resort the first evening we get there for dinner? I have a one and three-year-old. Is is worth the trip to see Wilderness at Christmas?

Greetings and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shana!

The Magic Kingdom Resort area is filled with a multitude of things to see and experience, how fortunate you are to be a Guest at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, where you’ll enjoy unique benefits and magical experiences under Pixie~Dusted skies.

A couple of my favorite methods of travel to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are as follows:
    1) Take Disney’s Resort Monorail to Magic Kingdom park and then the Water Launch from the base of the Theme Park.
    2) Take the Water Launch from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa over to Magic Kingdom park and then transfer to a second Water Launch.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge boasts a stunning main lobby any time of year. During the holiday season, a massive Christmas tree adorns the center of the lobby – perfect for family photos capturing memories to last a life-time.

May I offer Disney’s Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones containing tips and advice for suitable activities, attractions and experiences? A perfect planning tool to help optimize your visit.

We hope this information is helpful, Shana and wish you a most magical Disney holiday vacation!
