Is there an easy way to book a back to back cruise?

Hi there, Christina! Welcome to planDisney!

You are one lucky Disney cruiser to be booking a back-to-back cruise! The only thing better than one Disney cruise is another one immediately after! Talk about the most magical way to keep those debarkation blues at bay!

It’s super easy to book a back-to-back Disney cruise! All you need to do is book your first cruise, and then book your second one right afterwards. That’s it!

There are many pros to booking a back-to-back Disney cruise. Obviously, it's a much better final night on your first cruise. While all your fellow passengers are getting ready to debark the next morning, you get to be ready for a magical welcome on board again! It's for this reason that my family is also considering booking back-to-back Disney cruise sailings, because my kids want nothing more than to stay on board for as long as possible! Another cool thing about back-to-back sailings is that you are working towards increasing your Castaway Club status for both cruises, as they each count towards your Castaway Club level. For example, if you're a brand-new Disney cruiser, by the second cruise, you're already a Silver Castaway Club member!

Lastly, back-to-back Disney cruises can offer longer or different itineraries. For example, if you can't decide between an Eastern or Western Caribbean sailing, you could do both during a back-to-back sailing, alternating itineraries with each one. Another awesome itinerary choice could offer you back-to-back stops at favorite Disney destinations, such as a return sailing to Disney Castaway Cay! I share this tip as a point to keep in mind as you're choosing itineraries.

I have a few more tips to help your transfer from one sailing to another go more smoothly:

    • You will receive more details about the debarkation and embarkation process on board your first cruise at the Guest Services Desk.
    • You will still have to debark on your final morning and embark back on again. (This equals twice the magical announcements on embarkation day!)
    • If you choose the same stateroom on both cruises, most likely, you won't have to pack and unpack. Your stateroom host will have more information about this once you're on board. However, if you choose two different staterooms for each cruise, you will have to pack your luggage and have it moved to the other one. Guests have sailed magically with both routes, so if you don't find the same stateroom for both sailings, don't fret! In fact, I can see this as a great way to try out different stateroom categories!
    • Your onboard booking window for each cruise will still depend on your Castaway Club status, and you will book activities for each cruise according to it.
    • You will still need to complete one Online Check-In per cruise, for a total of two.
    • Enjoy that final breakfast on your first debarkation/second embarkation day to its fullest, and really take in this moment! You’re heading on another Disney cruise today!

Christina, I hope I offered guidance for the ultimate Disney cruise vacation! I wish you, not one, but TWO heaps of the most magical memories on board! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any more questions.
