Hey there, Patricia! Thanks for bringing your questions to planDisney. You must be very excited about your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Patricia, you’ll be happy to know that
Disneyland Resort is a very accessible and inclusive place to visit. I recommend looking at the
Guides for Guests with Disabilities – there is one for each park. This will familiarize you with the access you need at both parks. Disneyland Resort really takes pride in making it a magical experience for all and I think you’ll be comforted to see the accommodations in place.
I am not sure if you have heard of
Disability Access Service (DAS), but this might be worth checking into once you arrive. Pop into City Hall at Disneyland Park or Chamber of Commerce at Disney California Adventure Park once you arrive, to inquire about DAS. If you qualify, this service will help reduce your time spent waiting in queues, as you’ll be able to schedule return times for one attraction at a time.
Check out the
entertainment schedule too - in addition to the amazing Nighttime Spectaculars that just returned last week, you'll also find performances throughout the day at both parks from performers like
Five & Dime and
The Dapper Dans. Hanging out with a Disney snack while enjoying their melodious singing is a great way to soak in the ambience.
I hope you have an amazing visit, Patricia! The magic awaits.
