With Easter being towards the end of April in 2014 what type of crowds can we expect if we visit 3/30th thru 4/5th. Its our 2nd visit but the kids were very young on 1st visit, so its kind of like a 1st time for them.

Hi Janet! When it comes to Easter the best advice is to try to avoid the week before and the week after when concerned about crowds in the parks. Next year Easter is going to be late and this might affect school holidays but we are never sure. Springtime is always a tough time to predict park crowds as schools across the country constantly are changing their spring break holidays from year to year.

Once you decide on your vacation week the important thing is to make your dining and recreation reservations as soon as possible. Now is a good time to sit down and make a list of the different things and places you will want to go with the kids. I am sure they will enjoy a character dining experience at least once during the trip so let them help you choose which one to reserve. Know your 180 day booking date so you can mark it on the calendar.

As long as you are avoiding the Easter weeks you should still be able to manage the parks next spring. Hopefully, you will be lucky to pick that one off week when schools are not out across the country. As long as you plan ahead you will be fine and your children will have a magical second visit to Walt Disney World.
