Hello and welcome to planDisney, Liza!
Thank you for stopping by and sharing your question with us. It is a pleasure to assist you as you plan a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Easter is a lovely time of the year to visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth. The weather is usually beautiful, with gorgeous sunny skies, and the temperatures are starting to warm up.
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full swing in April, and
TRON Lightcycle / Run is officially opening at Magic Kingdom Park on April 4.
A Catholic Mass has been offered in past years at the Walt Disney World Resort on Easter Sunday. Services have been held in the Fantasia Ballroom at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort at 8:00 a.m., but no details about Easter 2023 services have yet been released. I suggest keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for updates, and you are also welcome to stop by
Lobby Concierge at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel for information or
contact the Walt Disney World Resort closer to Easter Sunday. Another option is attending one of the services held at The Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe, located just about 3 miles from the Walt Disney World Resort.
planDisney tip: Easter brings delicious food and beverages to
The Most Magical Place on Earth, so I recommend checking out the
Foodie Guide to Easter 2023 to learn more about all the flavors coming to the theme parks, including the popular Easter egg displays at Disney Resort hotels.
It was a pleasure answering your question, Liza. I hope this helps you while planning and that you have a magical Easter visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
