Where will Easter Sunday Mass be celebrated at Disney World

Welcome to planDisney, Marilys! I'm so glad you hopped on by with your vacation planning question! Springtime splendor at the Most Magical Place on Earth is sure to be an absolute delight, so let's explore the Easter offerings and details all around the resort!

At this time, there has been no announcement made about offering an Easter mass on Easter Sunday at Walt Disney World Resort. While I never experienced it personally, I have read that there used to be an Easter mass hosted at Disney's Contemporary Resort. My own family used to attend mass at Mary, Queen of the Universe when we would visit Orlando during the summers of my youth, and my panelist pal Jana also shared in a recent question that they will be hosting Easter services both in person and online this year. I'd also recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements as the holiday draws near.

Marilys, there are some egg-ceptional seasonal offerings to be seen during your Easter visit; the Grand Cottage at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will feature a variety of springtime sweets surrounded by delightful Easter egg displays! You can find Easter egg displays at a variety of other resorts on property as well, including Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Yacht Club, to name a few!

Also during Easter weekend, there is traditionally a short Easter parade that precedes the Festival of the Fantasy Parade in Magic Kingdom Park, and the opportunity to meet Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny on Main Street, U.S.A. Because these are seasonal offerings and subject to change, the best resource for information will be directly in the My Disney Experience mobile app while you are on property!

Over at EPCOT, the season will be in bloom with the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and the annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza Hunt will be offered to guests as well. To participate in this fun activity, you can purchase a hunt-specific map from Disney Traders, Creations Shop, Gateway Gifts, or World Traveler and then visit each of the 12 countries in World Showcase in search of the hidden eggs that feature some of our favorite Disney characters! Be sure to search high and low and keep track of your finds as you make your way around the world! Once you have completed your hunt, you can return your map to select locations in EPCOT to claim your prize!

While you're going to have to hunt for those eggs, I'm sure you won't have to hunt for the magic and memories that await you this spring! I'm wishing you a wonderful vacation, Marilys, and hope to see you back here at planDisney if you have any other questions! Like the Easter Bunny himself, we're all ears!

    Hoppy Planning,
    Alison
