Hi there, Jodie!
A warm welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with an
egg-xcellent
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm so
egg-xcited to hear you're currently on-site at The Most Magical Place on Earth celebrating this Easter holiday! I'm always happy to help some-
bunny out with their questions while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.
Jodie, in past years, Easter church services have been held at
Disney's Contemporary Resort as well as off-site at local churches. This year, signage at the Disney Resort hotels informs Guests that a nearby church, Mary Queen of the Universe Basilica, is hosting mass at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 12:00 p.m. approximately two miles off property. Additionally, the church has indicated that the 10:00 a.m. service will be live-streamed for those who can't attend in person. Alternatively, St. Luke's United Methodist Church has announced it will host both contemporary and traditional services at 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m., respectively. Both of these services will be live-streamed, as well! If you're staying at a
Disney Resort hotel, I encourage you to check in with the friendly Cast Members at the Front Desk to see if any additional services are being offered today!
If you have theme park admission for today, I encourage you to
hop on over to
Magic Kingdom Park to visit with some very special limited-time Guests, Mr. Bunny and Mrs. Bunny! While in that area, be sure to scurry through
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to view the
egg-stravagant chocolate Easter egg display featuring familiar Disney Characters and themes.
Jodie, I'm wishing you a very
hoppy Easter Day and a wonder-filled remainder of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! If you have any additional questions throughout your visit, you're always welcome to revisit us right here at
planDisney. We're all
ears!Warm wishes,
Lauren
