Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Marisa!
Growing up, my family always watched the Easter Parade from Walt Disney World on TV, and I dreamed of growing up to be one of the Azalea Trail Maids, in those gorgeous pastel gowns and bonnets. I've spent the last two Easters at Walt Disney World, and it is so magical, with the lovely spring weather and egg-stra special holiday activities.
I expect that the
Disney Parks Blog will start sharing news about Easter fun a few weeks before the holiday, so be sure to keep your bunny ears to the ground.
While I haven't heard any news from the Easter Bunny, I can tell you some of the things my family has experienced and loved in the past few years. At
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's pastry chefs display beautifully themed and breathtakingly detailed chocolate eggs. If you'll be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, look for signs posted a few days before Easter. We've been able to meet characters dressed in their holiday finest, and have participated in candy scrambles and other festive fun at our resort hotels. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny have greeted Guests in Magic Kingdom Park during the Easter season, and there's been an enchanting Easter opening to the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. We also love the
Easter Egg-stravaganza hunt for Disney-themed eggs during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
Hippity hoppity, Easter's on it’s way, and I'm sending you some pastel-colored and chocolate-flavored pixie dust that the Easter news starts to parade in quicker than a shake of a bunny's tail!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
