Welcome to planDisney Clarissa.
I'm so glad that you decided to be our Guest. A trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds enchanting. With the 50th Anniversary Celebration happening right now, you're in for a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time. I'm a firm believer that any of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels provide their own unique magic and that you can't go wrong wherever you choose to stay.
Clarissa, I tried checking availability for
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort during the month of April and I couldn't find any availability. This can happen, particularly with the more popular Disney Resorts, unless you book a good chunk of time in advance. It's possible that there will be cancelations over the next month or so. Therefore, a room might become available again. Even so, you probably want to book another hotel in the meantime so that you can secure accommodation for your trip. You can then keep checking those dates for the Polynesian Village Resort to see if anything becomes available. If that happens, then you can modify your reservation
over the phone. I realize that's not the answer you wanted to hear, Clarissa.
I found a couple of other fantastic Disney Resorts that you might want to consider. There is currently availability for
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Although this is technically a Moderate Resort, it's about as close to a Deluxe Resort as you can get. The theme of this hotel is a very elegant blend of Spanish, Mexican, and Southwest American cultures. The pool features an awe-inspiring Mayan pyramid that makes it (in my opinion) one of the coolest pools on property. Your joy is about to soar to infinity and beyond! There are also lots of tasty food options, such as
Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood. Not only is the food "muy bueno", but the décor is beautiful and the views of Walt Disney World are spectacular!
I also found availability for
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. With its storybook landscapes – including Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid – a good argument could be made for this being the best Disney-themed Resort on property. There are also some brilliant pools to enjoy, including the largest one in any Disney Resort. My personal favorite is the whimsical Cozy Cone Pool.
Landscape of Flavors might just be one of the best quick-service restaurants in Walt Disney World too. Probably my favorite feature of this hotel is its easy access to the
Disney Skyliner. Clarissa, you're going to love being able to "fly" to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT (no pixie dust required).
In the words of Sally from Cars, "I hope you find what you're looking for." Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Clarissa.
