Hi, Can I easily get to and back from Sanaa restaurant for lunch if I'm spending the day at Animal Kingdom theme park? - Thanks!

Hello, Parish! I'm glad you stopped by planDisney with your question.

You picked a fabulous restaurant to have lunch at while you at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Parish! Sanaa is one of my favorites. I think you'll be happy to know that it will be very easy for you to get to and from the restaurant. What you'll need to do is exit Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and head toward the bus area. You'll see signs indicating where to wait for a bus for the different Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. You'll follow the signs to the bus stop that will take you to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. These bus stop numbers do change from time to time so I am unable to provide you with what number you will want to look for but there is a big board will all of the numbers before you get to that area so it will be easy to see. When the bus arrives for the resort, just climb on board and you'll be whisked away for your lunch. Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge are located very close to each other. The bus ride will only take about 5 minutes or so to get there. When you are ready to return to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, just head back out of the resort to where you were dropped off and board another bus back to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. I think you will be impressed with just how easy it is to get around.

Sanaa is a beautiful restaurant that overlooks the savanna where you might spot giraffes, zebras, gazelles and many other animals as you dine on African and Indian-inspired dishes. If I could encourage you to try one thing on the menu during your lunch it would most certainly be the fan favorite, Indian-style Bead Service. This appetizer is a choice of your favorite of the 5 breads and all 9 different accompaniments like Cucumber Raita, Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, Mango Chutney, Tomato-Date Jam, Tamarind Chutney, Coriander Chutney, Garlic Pickle, Red Chile Sambal, or Spicy Jalapeño-Lime Pickle. It's a really delicious way to start off a meal at Sanaa and just so fun!

I really hope you are able to make it to your lunch reservation with ease, Parish. I know that once you are there you are going to have a great time feasting on some really delicious flavors. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to come back and ask me. Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
