Hey there, Traci. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is so much fun, you are going to have a great time.
Traveling back to
Disney's Port Orleans Resort from
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is pretty easy and you have a couple of different options. The first option would be to take the monorail from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to
Magic Kingdom Park. It will be the second stop. From there, you'll exit the monorail and walk to the bus stop area and hop on the bus to your resort. The other option you have would be to use
Disney's Minnie Van Service. You can call a Minnie Van to pick you up using the Lyft mobile app. Be sure to have that downloaded on your smartphone before your trip. When you open the app, select the Minnie Van. If it isn't the default vehicle displayed just swipe through the options until you come to it. Within the app you'll be able to select your destination, see the wait and travel times and pay. It's so convenient. The Minnie Van will pick you up at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and take you straight to Disney's Port Orleans Resort.
If you are looking for something fun to do before the show, I love hanging out at
Tambu Lounge. It's located on the second floor of the lobby at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This lounge serves Hawaiian inspired cocktails with a fun, relaxing atmosphere. My favorite is the Lapu Lapu which is offered in a hollowed out pineapple. Nothing says vacation like it! If you aren't interested in an adult beverage, they also offer some really great Hawaiian inspired mocktails that you can enjoy.
I hope this helps, Traci. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.
