Hi! What would be the easiest way to get from Magic Kingdom to Grand Floridian with one party member in a wheel chair? I know there is an elevator to get from park level to monorail level at EPCOT is there one at MK? Or does a boat make that trip?

    Hi there, Julie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

To get from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Grand Floridian there are only 2 options. Unfortunately, there is no bus service from the Magic Kingdom to this beautiful resort.

For wheelchair access, you and your family will need to board the Monorail at the Magic Kingdom. The ferry that travels from the Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian currently, does not accommodate wheelchairs due to the size of the boat. They are quite small!

Once you exit the Magic Kingdom, just walk left and head up the ramp to board the Monorail. Also, there's no elevator to board the Monorail at this location. After a few quick stops, you will exit and enter the splendor and beauty of Disney's Grand Floridian.

Enjoy your visit to the Magic Kingdom, as well as to Disney Grand Floridian! If you have more questions, please feel free to visit with us again!
