Hi Maria,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! Because we usually stay in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel that has rooms with kitchens or kitchenettes (such as a
Deluxe Villa Resort or a Family Suite at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort), we almost always do a grocery shop when we arrive in Central Florida.
If you don’t rent a car (which is what we usually do), then your best bet would be to have your groceries delivered. My two go-to delivery services are: Garden Grocer (www.gardengrocer.com) or, believe it or not, amazon.com for non-perishable items. I’ve also found that having non-food essentials like sunscreen and, if you have little ones, diapers, delivered straight to your Resort is a great timesaver!
Another tip to make sure that delivery goes smoothly: make sure in the "name" part of the address that you send the package to the the lead Guest (i.e. the first on the list) for your Walt Disney World Resort reservation. It's also a good idea to write "GUEST - ARRIVING DD/MM/YY" on the same line as the name to make sure that the package goes to the right person.
Please don't hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
