Ahoy there, Marshall!
I am so glad you sailed by planDisney with this excellent question. How exciting that you are planning a
Disney Vacation by Land and Sea that includes a stay at a Disney Vacation Club Resort and a Disney Cruise Line cruise. We did this for my dad's 70th birthday and it was truly the best of both worlds.
Marshall, the easiest way to get from a
Disney Vacation Club Resort to the Disney Cruise Line Port at Port Canaveral, Florida is to take the
Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation. What I like about this option is that you can sit back, relax and start dreaming about your ocean voyage to the great wide somewhere while Disney takes the wheel. But, if you would like to arrange private transportation, you can do that as well using a service of your choice.
If you decide to take advantage of Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation, I have a bit of information you should know. As a Disney Vacation Club Member, if you have booked your Disney Cruise Line cruise using any Disney Vacation Club Points,
Disney Vacation Club Member Services can help you book your Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation to Port Canaveral. Once you call, select Member Services and then Disney Cruise Line, and one of the helpful Cast Members will make magic happen for you. However, if you paid fully in cash for your cruise, then you will need to contact
Disney Cruise Line to arrange Ground Transportation.
I hope this information helps you maximize the magic of your Disney Vacation by Land and Sea. If I can help you with any additional DVC or Disney vacation planning questions, come back and see me here at planDisney. To find me, just take the second star to the right. Enjoy your magical adventure!
