Hey there, Jill. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question. I noticed that you are vacationing at Walt Disney World during the month of March. That's one of my favorite times to go, the weather is just perfect. You are going to have an amazing time.
I'm super excited to know that you are staying at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort during your Walt Disney World vacation. It's one of my all-time favorite places to stay. The lush landscape, calypso drum music and the vibrant colors really make it seem like you are on a Caribbean getaway. I hope you've scheduled in some time to enjoy the Fuentes del Morro Pool area. This is the main pool area for the resort, although there are 5 other leisure pools to choose from, and it's a lot of fun. Themed like a colonial fortress, this zero-entry pool has 2 water slides, an extra-large spa and a kiddie play area to enjoy. In this area, you'll also find one of my favorite hang-out spots, the
Banana Cabana Pool Bar. Snacks and drinks are served up with a Caribbean flair. I love ordering the chile con queso which is a Caribbean-style chili with pimento cheese, pico de gallo and tortillas and washing it down with a Pink Guava Colada. Delicious! I really do love Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort so much, I could go on and on.
Okay, now let's get you to your breakfast reservation at
Disney's Contemporary Resort. Depending on what time your reservation at
Chef Mickey's is, you have two options. The first would be to take a complimentary bus over to Magic Kingdom Park. Buses start running about 45 minutes prior to the park opening each morning. Once at Magic Kingdom Park, you can actually just follow the sidewalk all the way to Disney's Contemporary Resort. It's about a 10 minute leisurely walk. You could also take the monorail, once at the
Magic Kingdom Park, over to Disney's Contemporary Resort but I think walking from where the buses drop you off is a better option. The second option would be to take a taxi or use a ride-share service that will take you from your resort straight to Disney's Contemporary Resort for breakfast. This is going to be the quickest, most straightforward option. I've used different ride-share services to get all over Walt Disney World and I find that it's really convenient and pretty affordable too. If you prefer a classic taxi, the front desk or a bell service Cast Member outside can usually call one for you if there isn't one already waiting outside.
I hope this helps plan your morning a little bit better, Jill. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach back out. Enjoy!
