Hi Shannon!
Welcome to planDisney! As my friend Winnie the Pooh says, "Any day spent with you is my favorite day," and it sounds like you're planning a wonderful vacation with others where you'll enjoy making magical memories together!
Shannon, when making a reservation online for a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can only reserve one room at a time. After both rooms have been booked, you can
call a Cast Member at Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and request adjoining rooms. Before making your request, you may want to note that adjoining rooms refer to rooms that are located near each other while connecting rooms refer to rooms that have an interior door connecting them. While Disney cannot guarantee specific room requests, I'm sure they'll be happy to do their best to accommodate. If you
take advantage of Online Check-In before your arrival, you can also
note any additional room requests at that time.
If you haven't already made your reservation, you may also want to check out the
Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts. With these properties, you'll find some larger accommodations which may include 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom villas. It may be worth weighing the cost of these rooms against what you're paying for two separate rooms while also taking into account the additional amenities and the ability to access
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on select nights in select parks. Another option, depending on the size of your party, might be a Family Suite available at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort and
Disney's All-Star Music Resorts. These are
Value Resort Hotels that offer a selection of larger rooms that can accommodate up to six guests. Disney's Art of Animation Resort is even located on the
Disney Skyliner for easy access to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios!
Shannon, I hope this helps you plan for an amazing resort stay on your upcoming vacation! Please feel free to stop by and see us again at planDisney with any other vacation planning questions you have in the future!
See ya real soon!
