Is it easier to make Advance Reservations for dining online or on the phone? Which way would I be more likely to get the reservations I want?

Hello Amy!  Welcome to the Moms Panel and thank you for your question.  I have had the privilege of answering a question similar to yours.  My own personal opinion has not changed on this matter, so I would love for you to click here to get a better glimpse of why I prefer speaking to a Cast Member.  I think you will side with me.  If not, well, my husband earns a point.  Of course, I will have to keep that a secret.
Now as for your second question,  all guests receive an equal chance of locking their reservation whether it is online or by phone.  I, however, seem to think that a Cast Member, working for Disney Dining, will now how to maneuver the system much faster due to their experience with the web page.  They may just be able to book your reservations a couple of seconds faster than someone going online.  Seconds may be the difference when trying to book that very popular 6:00 p.m. spot. They are also very familiar with ALL the restaurants and can offer great advice.
Well, I hope this helps as you begin planning for your fantastic Walt Disney World vacation.  You can reach Disney Dining by calling (407) WDW-DINE to set your reservations.  Have a magical day!
