All Ears talked about a glass slipper as a birthday suprise after a make over. Do I need to pre-order? Also My (will be) 5 year old son hates face painting any suggestions for him as a special treat? Thank you for all the help. You are all wonderful.

    Hello Mary,

It looks like you have a few surprises up your sleeve during your upcoming Disney trip. How exciting! I love surprises!

Now, I'm not sure if you're talking about an actual glass slipper that can be presented to your Princess, but the Dream Makers at Disney Florist can do that. They'll deliver the slipper and a tiara on a beautiful pillow to your Princess almost anywhere on property. You can read more about it here.

Or, when you dine at the Grand Floridian Resort, you can have a chocolate slipper served to you, filled with mousse and fruit. These do need to be ordered ahead of time. You can speak with a Cast Member at 407-827-2253. You can see photos of this royal dessert over at DisneyFoodBlog.com.

Now, for your second surprise, have you ever considered taking your son to Harmony Barber Shop? The Barber Shop sees clients young and old, boys and girls. And even if your son does not need a haircut, he can have Pixie Dust (colored gel, glitter, and some hidden Mickeys) sprinkled into his hair. You can call 407-WDW-PLAY to reserve a spot.

    I hope this helps!
