Hello Brandon! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! I love racking up points on my
Chase/VISA Disney Rewards credit card! It goes a long way in helping to pay for our visits to the Walt Disney World Resort!
The first thing that you need to do is transfer your points (reward dollars) to a Disney Rewards Redemption Card. You can easily do this by calling the Customer Service number on the reverse side of your Chase/VISA credit card or on your redemption card (if you already have one). If you already have a Disney Rewards Redemption Card your reward dollars will be transferred to your card. If you don't have a Redemption Card, one will be issued to you. Once you have your reward dollars transferred to your Disney Rewards Redemption Card, you are ready to start paying for your next vacation (or for other Disney merchandise on sites such as
shopdisney.com)!
When you book your vacation, you can tell the friendly cast member that you will be using your Disney Rewards Redemption Card to pay. You can use your reward dollars first and then use another card to pay the balance. If you need to cancel, your resort cost will be refunded back to your Disney Rewards Redemption Card. Be sure that you cancel within the cancellation policy associated with your booking. Also, please note that theme park tickets are non-refundable.
In the past, we have used our Disney Reward Dollars to pay for special event tickets such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! We've also used our Disney Reward Dollars to pay for our Walt Disney World Resort Hotel! It's a rather magical card to carry!
