Hey there, Jessica!
It’s always great to chat with a fellow Disney Parks explorer. I’ve had my eye on that same
Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich for a while now, but unfortunately missed it on my most recent visit to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. We were too full from an early lunch and didn't stop to pick one up before hopping over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Don't worry, I won’t make the same mistake on my next visit!
This internet-famous ice cream creation is available at
Terra Treats located near
Creature Comforts and the Baby Care Center. I just checked the
My Disney Experience app and noted that it’s usually open from 10:30 am to 6 pm daily. Pro tip: you can check the hours for most locations by clicking the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the app and searching for your destination. This is especially helpful for confirming scheduled character appearances, live shows, and more.
I don’t know about you, but I like starting my Animal Kingdom day early with a few laps on
Expedition Everest and a ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris. If you have a similar plan in mind, you should be able to tick off a few must-experience attractions before securing that celebratory ice cream treat. It would also make a perfect afternoon snack as the temperature heats up and energy levels begin to dip.
If you're looking for even more bites and beverages to sample during your wild day,
check out this Disney Parks Blog post. The Stuffed Pancake Sandwich is my go-to morning fuel since it's easy to eat in line (no utensils required) and packs flavor in every bite.
Flame Tree Barbecue's Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork is another great, shareable snack, and I never miss a stop at
Nomad Lounge for tasty bites and unique libations.
Jessica, trek on back to planDisney again with any other questions. We're always happy to be your guides.
Magic and memories,
Amy
