How early do you start planning and making reservations? We are looking at least 18 months out. But I'm excited and want to get started planning.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kimberly!

You are a planner after my own heart! It's never too early to start dreaming up and planning your next Walt Disney World Vacation. I find myself daydreaming of my favorite attractions and restaurants, even if I don't have a visit planned. But that usually leads to booking a visit. It's a very vicious, I mean, magical cycle!

Kimberly, you can book a room-only reservation as early as 499-days in advance. If you already have a reservation at one of the magnificent resort hotels inside the magic, you are able to start booking your Advanced Dining Reservations 180-days plus the number of days you are staying. Likewise, for your FastPass+, 60+days. For example, if you have a reservation for 5-days, you will be able to start booking your Dining reservations 185-days in advance. And your FastPass+ 65-days in advance. This is a great benefit for those hard-to-get reservations!

If you're staying offsite, your dining reservations will open up at 180-days and your FastPass+ 30-days before you arrive.

I hope this information is useful as you have fun planning your magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any more planning questions or need any tips or advice, don't hesitate to come by to see us!

    See ya real soon,
