Hiya, Nicole! From one resident of the Keystone state to another, let me offer you a warm welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad you dropped by with your question.
Nicole, I started bringing my kids to Walt Disney World from Pennsylvania when they were toddlers, so I appreciate your question about transportation and car seats. One of the things I love about a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is that with
complimentary transportation between the
Disney Resort Hotels and the parks (and
Disney Springs), I can leave my car keys in my suitcase and let Mickey take care of the driving. Depending on the
Disney Resort Hotel that you choose, transportation could include a shuttle bus,
Disney Skyliner, monorail, or
water taxi. When my kids were babies, we would hold them on our laps, and then as they got older, they would just sit on their own. Some modes of transportation like the Disney Skyliner or monorail will even allow little Mouseketeers to remain in their stroller during the ride.
Since you’re interested in an option from the airport that does not require a car seat, I recommend checking out Mears Connect. A quick internet search should provide more information including pricing. I have used this service a few times with my kids and it operates very similarly to the former transportation provided by Disney. You'll board a large coach bus with other guests and be dropped off at your Disney Resort Hotel.
Nicole, I hope this helps as you're planning for spring at Walt Disney World. Please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions. We love to see a returning guest!
