    How early can you make reservations for a Disney Vacation Package? 1-2 years? We want to go in December of 2014 but I wasn't sure how early we could make reservations.

    Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question!
    Being able to plan far in advance is one of the great perks of booking your Walt Disney World Magic Your Way Vacation Package online through the WDW website directly.

    Currently, Magic Your Way Vacation Packages are booking through to the end of December 2013. Generally speaking, the next calendar year's worth of bookings and package rates are released in June/July of each year, giving as much as an 18-month window of booking time for a December holiday.

    Keep watching the website and also keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for news to be released regarding 2014 Magic Your Way Vacation Packages and other promotions throughout late spring of next year. Some time into late June or through the month of July you will most likely see the release of 2014 vacation dates released!

    I'm a BIG fan of reserving as far in advance as possible. Not only is it fun to be able to put your vacation on the calendar and start a countdown, it's also great to be able to pay just a small deposit, and budget payments for your holiday over a long period of time!

    Keep in mind that once you've reserved your vacation package, if a Special Offer is released that covers your vacation dates, you can still call in and request to switch to the promotion! Simply call (407) 939-7675 and ask the Cast Member to check availability for you on the offer.
