How early can I make a reservations for character dining?

    Hello, Sandy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for bringing your question to our website!

It's fantastic to answer your question because character dining experiences are very special to me. In my opinion, they're a vital part of every trip because they help me connect to the theme beyond simply visiting at a themed location.

I took my parents to the Walt Disney World Resort in September for the first time, and both of them didn't know what to expect. But everything changed as soon as they met their favorite characters. I'll never forget the looks in their eyes when they finally realized that they were literally inside the magic!

You will be able to book your dining experiences 180 days before visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, Sandy. That head start is especially strategic if you want to attend coveted meals like the outstanding Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White

If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll be able to book dining reservations for up to 10 days, beginning 180 days before your arrival date. The window opens at 6 a.m EST online (through the website and the My Disney Experience app) and 7 a.m. EST for reservations made over the phone.

To make sure that you'll get all the tables you want, I suggest keeping a spreadsheet with all your plans so that you can book them as soon as the system makes them available.

If you want any ideas or suggestions, please let us know. We will be here to help you decide on restaurants, FastPass+ selections, and Special Events, so don't hesitate to ask for advice. We love to help!

May the magic be with you,
