We have an early reservation at the royal table, 7:10am. We are staying at Coroanado Springs resort. How much time should we allow to go from our room to the royal table? I do not want to miss it!

Hey howdy hey, Aimee and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad you asked because getting you from place to place at Walt Disney World Resort is what Tiggers like me do best. I am here to give you options to get you to the most regal meal in all the "World."

Whether by flying carpet, flying elephant, Doom Buggy, bus, watercraft, car, or gondola, there are many options from getting around the place "where dreams come true."

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is about 10 minutes south of Magic Kingdom Park but that 10 minutes is not an exact number depending on how you travel. A small note, Disney recommends you budget 90 minutes when using their complimentary services but it has never taken longer than an hour for me. Let's look at the options.

    1. Walt Disney World Bus Service is complimentary and will take you from Disney Resort Hotels to the theme parks, Disney Water Parks, and Disney Springs, from theme park to theme park, and after 4:00 PM one-way service from the theme parks to Disney Springs. There is an early morning dining experience bus that will take you to Magic Kingdom Park. Typically, the bus will pick you up about 45-60 minutes before your dining experience and may have several stops prior to arriving at the Magic Kingdom Park bus depot. This drop-off is right in front of the entrance to Magic Kingdom Park. The night before your reservation, ask a Cast Member at the front desk what time to expect the bus in the morning and which bus stop at Disney's Coronado Springs to meet the bus (there are 4 bus stops).

    2. Disney Minnie Van Service is Mickey's white-glove concierge level fee-for-service transportation that pairs you with a knowledgeable, entertaining Disney driver who will give you tips, tricks, and history as well as customize a Disney music playlist for your ride. This is the fastest way to get to Magic Kingdom Park because you will be dropped off at the bus depot instead of the parking lot of Magic Kingdom Park (Transportation and Ticket Center). The service runs from 6:30 AM till 12:30 AM and will take about 20 minutes from pickup to drop-off.

    3. Use your own car or take a third party service like Uber/Lyft which will drop you off at the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there you will take the Express Monorail and enjoy the "highway in the sky" experiences as you travel alongside the Seven Seas Lagoon, through the inside of Disney's Contemporary Resort, arriving at the entrance to the "Most Magical Place on Earth." This will take around 45-60 minutes depending on how long it takes for the Uber/Lyft to arrive, the wait for the monorail, and the monorail trip.

Minnie Van Service is my recommendation to make sure you are there on time if you do not mind spending a few extra dollars.

Disney Dad Tip: Character Dining Experiences mean you don’t have to wait in line for signatures in the theme parks. Make sure to bring an empty tummy, a camera, a permanent marker, and an autograph book to capture this magical moment.

Aimee, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
