Do I have to make early requests at restaurants for peanut free meals?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shelly!

I am so happy to help you plan your peanut-free Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I have travelled to visit Mickey and friends with my son several times, who has multiple food allergies. In our experience, the chefs and Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort have always done a fantastic job at making sure my son has tasty and safe meals throughout our trips. You will want to add a peanut allergy to your dining reservation. You can do this when you are booking your reservation by clicking on the "Add" button in the Special Request section of the reservation confirmation page. If you already have our reservation booked, you can add the allergy by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. The Cast Member can add the allergy to your reservation so the chefs are prepared to accommodate your special dietary requests. Once you arrive at the restaurant, notify the Cast Member seating you of your allergy and remind your sever of your allergy. You can also speak to the Chef if you like to help you pick a safe and tasty meal!

For quick service locations, a peanut-free diet can be accommodated pretty easily. Simply notify the Cast Member that you are accommodating an allergy and they can provide you with an allergy menu and ingredients lists for the foods on the menu. You can also ask for a chef or manager to help you order a safe meal.

Please let me know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
