    To get early release tickets for mickey's not so scary halloween, do you need to be staying on site at time of release or is it based on if you have a reservation during the event time?

    Happy Halloween, Sheri! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite events at the Walt Disney World Resort! It’s not quite Halloween for my family until we see the Headless Horseman make his haunting ride through Magic Kingdom Park!

    Over the past few years, there have been two release dates for Halloween party tickets. The first release date is for Guests who have an existing reservation during the party season. You do not need to be “on-site” at the time that tickets go on sale, you simply need to have a reservation booked during the party season to purchase tickets on the first release date. The second release date is for the general public to purchase tickets for the party!

    Sheri, here is a PRO TIP for you! Guests with tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party can enter the park as early as 4:00 PM even though the festivities don’t start until 7:00 PM. I strongly encourage Guests to take advantage of that extra time!
