Early planning for a cruise. I normally carry all the prescription meds with me in a carry on. Will this be alright or should they be put in the checked luggage? Also will bus pick us up at resort if we fly in the day before?

    Welcome aboard, Heidi!

You've surely got the right idea about carrying on your prescription medicine. Just like on airlines, it's best to have that with you in case there is a delay in your luggage arriving to your stateroom.

It sounds like you might be staying the night before at one of Disney's amazing resorts! That will make your trip so much more special and the travel a lot easier. You can take Disney's complimentary Magical Express from the airport to your resort when you arrive. Then, the next day, you can take Disney's ground transportation from your Disney resort right to Port Canaveral.

You'll need to call Disney Cruise Line ahead of time to add this extra transportation onto your reservation. Currently the transportation to the port is $35 per person one way. Because Disney takes care of all of the details, including the luggage from your resort to the port, you just sit back, enjoy the ride and start out your cruise vacation stress free! The same Disney ground transportation can take you from the ship back to the airport on your last morning as well.

I hope this information helps you plan, Heidi! Enjoy the excitement of planning the rest of your Disney cruise!
